  • Powertrain

    Innovative Engineering

The 2025 ARIYA is powered by the latest in Nissan’s innovative battery technology, with a liquid-cooled thermal management system that helps it perform better during hot summer days and cold winter nights, so you don’t have to let the weather ruin your road trip. There are two battery sizes for you to choose from, and both can be paired with either single-motor front-wheel drive or dual-motor all-wheel drive. That makes a total of four powertrain options for you to choose from, so you can get something that strikes just the right balance between range, capability, and budget.

The smaller battery of the two, rated at 63 kWh, powers the entry-level Engage trim and delivers an EPA-estimated 205 miles of range when paired with AWD or 216 miles when paired with FWD. While these are the lowest range figures in the lineup, they’re still sufficient for most drivers, especially those who are able to charge their vehicle overnight at home. And when you’re out on the go, all trims of the ARIYA are compatible with DC fast charging, so you can get a quick boost that can take you from 10% to 80% in as little as 35 minutes (or 40 minutes if you opt for the larger battery). Upgrade to a higher trim level, and you’ll get a more powerful 87 kWh battery that can take you even farther: up to 272 miles with AWD or up to 289 miles with FWD.

    Advantages of e-4ORCE All-Wheel Drive

While adding all-wheel drive does bring the range down slightly compared to front-wheel drive, it has a few advantages. For one thing, it increases traction the same way it does with gas-powered vehicles, giving you better control when driving on loose surfaces or wet roads. With an electric powertrain like the ARIYA has, there’s also another perk: the extra motor boosts your horsepower and torque figures. Looking at the 87 kWh battery, the horsepower increases from 238 hp to 389 hp, and the torque goes up from 221 lb-ft to 442 lb-ft.

That extra power makes for more thrilling driving dynamics, allowing properly configured models to go from 0-60 mph in as little as 4.8 seconds. Acceleration like that is more than just fun—it also comes in handy when getting up to highway speeds or passing a slow-moving vehicle on a two-lane road. On top of that, the power boost also allows AWD ARIYA models to tow up to 1,500 lbs, while FWD models aren’t rated for towing, so you can bring a trailer along for the ride.

  • Technology

    A Futuristic SUV

An electric powertrain isn’t the only thing that makes the 2025 ARIYA a futuristic SUV. It’s also loaded with cutting-edge tech features that can keep you connected, entertained, and safe while you’re on the go. Whichever trim you choose, you’ll have a suite of technology that’s designed not just to impress but to improve your every drive, from road trips to errand runs.

The entry-level Engage trim is the most basic option in the lineup, but even it comes with a great variety of standard tech. While some automakers stick their base trim with a smaller, simpler version of the infotainment system found in top trims, the ARIYA offers the same system across the board, with a large 12.3-inch touchscreen display in the center console and a 12.3-inch reconfigurable digital instrument cluster behind the wheel. Together, these screens make it easy to change settings and see vital information, navigation instructions, and safety warnings at a glance. You can easily connect your smartphone to this interface wirelessly via Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, or Android Auto, and you can charge it wirelessly, thanks to a standard wireless charging pad that complements four USB ports.

Just about all of the safety and driver assist features are standard across the trims. Right down to the Engage, every 2025 ARIYA comes with the following features at no extra cost:

    • Intelligent Emergency Braking
    • Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking
    • Rear Automatic Braking
    • Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention
    • Intelligent Lane Intervention
    • High Beam Assist
    • Adaptive Cruise Control
    • ProPILOT Assist 1.0
    • Front and rear parking sensors
    • Traffic Sign Recognition
    • Intelligent Driver Alertness
    • Hill Start Assist
    • Tire-specific low tire pressure warning
    • Easy-Fill Tire Alert

    Available Options

Of course, there are perks to upgrading to higher trim levels. More premium versions of the ARIYA come with more advanced features that make driving and parking even easier. The Intelligent Rear View Mirror can switch between being a traditional mirror and an LCD screen with a live feed of what’s going on behind you, letting you use the wide view of the camera when the rear window is obstructed by bulky cargo or tall backseat passengers. The Intelligent Around View Monitor gives you a 360-degree top-down view of the area around your SUV so you can maneuver carefully while parking in tight spaces. ProPILOT Park makes parking even easier—you can park at the push of a button, letting the system detect the perpendicular or parallel parking spot, steer, accelerate, brake, shift gears, and apply the parking brake automatically. ProPILOT Assist 2.0 does the same for highway driving in certain situations, letting you take your hands off the wheel while the ARIYA responds to stop-and-go traffic and keeps you centered in your lane.

  • Comfort

    Travel in Comfort

When you’re behind the wheel of the ARIYA, you can be sure that you and your passengers are traveling comfortably. This SUV may have a compact exterior, but when you step inside, you’ll find a spacious cabin with an airy and open layout, a back row with plenty of room to accommodate adults, and standard heated seats for staying cozy on cold days. The dual-zone automatic climate control system features dedicated rear seat vents to make sure that everyone is comfortable, no matter the temperature outside. Because of the electric powertrain, the floor of the cabin is completely flat, giving you plenty of legroom and cargo volume to work with. A 60/40 split in the rear bench lets you easily convert passenger seats into cargo space as needed.

Heated seats come standard in the front row, as does a heated steering wheel, so you can always stay nice and warm. For hot days, consider upgrading to a trim with ventilated front seats, like the luxurious Platinum+. All trims have Nissan’s Zero Gravity seats for the driver and front-row passenger. Inspired by the weightlessness of outer space, these supportive seats help prevent or reduce fatigue and soreness during long drives.

It’s easy to adjust the interior of the ARIYA to make it just right for your preferences. An eight-way power-adjustable driver seat with four-way lumbar support comes standard on all trims, as does driver seat memory, allowing you to save your ideal settings and quickly return to them after letting someone else take a turn behind the wheel. These features are also available for the front passenger seat on certain trims. In between the two seats, the ARIYA offers an innovative power-sliding center console that can open up space when you need it at the push of a button.
